KSS 10 Minute Monday - Think PInk

Hope You Can Cling To Begins!

I am so proud to be working with two wonderful companies who are helping to support Splitcoasterstampers' Hope You Can Cling To by providing prizes to be given away to participants in the event. This wonderful event goes on throughout the month of October with challenges being posted every day. The cards created by those joining in on the fun will be sent to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas to be used by cancer patients and their families.

Something Old, Something New

Sweet Dawn Mercedes, Tangled Up in Creativity member and Senior Designer for Mark's Finest Papers has been crowned Queen for the Day at Splitcoaststampers. She is also hosting the Free 4 All Challenge today and asked that participants use pattern paper to create a color block design. I have therefore cased her Whoo's Birthday to enter in both challenges.

KSS 10 Minute Monday

 As you can see above, I started each of today's ten minute cards by cutting two slits in my card front which were 1/2 centimeter larger than my stamped and matted panel. After stamping my Kitchen Sink image panels, I matted them and wove them through the slits and stamped my sentiment on the bridge created over the top of the panel. Quick, easy, and fun!

KSS 10 Minute Card - Lucky Stamper Inspired

One of the blogs I make sure to visit daily belongs to Kathy Braun, a fellow Texas stamper. On Fridays she features her one layer designs and that is where I fell in love with this delightful layout. You can see her beautiful card on her blog Lucky Stamper. With her permission, I am using her layout for Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minute Card Challenge #34. Thanks, Kathy, for your awesome inspiration! As you can see, the layout uses a corner punch to add detailing to the right hand corners of the card. A strip of colored paper is added behind the punched corners.
