Sweet Dawn Mercedes, Tangled Up in Creativity member and Senior Designer for Mark's Finest Papers has been crowned Queen for the Day at Splitcoaststampers. KSS 10 Minute Monday

 As you can see above, I started each of today's ten minute cards by cutting two slits in my card front which were 1/2 centimeter larger than my stamped and matted panel. After stamping my Kitchen Sink image panels, I matted them and wove them through the slits and stamped my sentiment on the bridge created over the top of the panel. Quick, easy, and fun!

KSS 10 Minute Card - Lucky Stamper Inspired

One of the blogs I make sure to visit daily belongs to Kathy Braun, a fellow Texas stamper. On Fridays she features her one layer designs and that is where I fell in love with this delightful layout. You can see her beautiful card on her blog Lucky Stamper. With her permission, I am using her layout for Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minute Card Challenge #34. Thanks, Kathy, for your awesome inspiration! KSS 10 Minute Card Challenge #32 - Andy Warhol Inspired

Before I get to this week's 10 Minute Card Challenge, I wanted to share a card I created for one of the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges sponsored by the Dirty Girls at Splitcoaststampers this past week. This particular challenge required that you create a one layer card.  Well, nothing is more perfect for one layer cards than the new Seed Packet recently released by Kitchen Sink Stamps.With a little masking and any of the fruit, vegetable, or flower sets by KSS, you can end up with a delightful one layer creation.

As you can see, I mixed Multi Step Berries with the Seed Packet set for my design. Fun, huh?

Kitchen Sink Stamps 10 Minute Card Challenge #31

I hope you are ready for some more 10 minute fun. This week's design involves stamping your Kitchen Sink images around a circle sentiment tag.

I started each card by sticking a circle I had cut from a Post-It note to the center of the card front. I then stamped my Kitchen Sink images all the way around the mask being sure that each image started on the sticky note as I worked my way around the circle. I then removed the mask and attached the sentiment tag which I had matted in black.

Dare to Get Dirty Week Begins Today at SCS!

The first challenge I have entered in the Dare to Get Dirty Challenge at SCS requires that paint be used on the project. This image by Hampton Arts was painted with SU Watercolor Wonder Crayons. The sentiment is from Big Wish by Verve.

 The second one required the use of kraft paper. The images are from Cowboy Hat Multi Step Clear Stamps, Cowboy Boots Multi Step Clear Stamps, and Simple Sentiments Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps.

 And this one required fruit or vegetables. I mixed Berries Multi Step Clear Stamps and Seed Packet Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps!

 For the Anything But a Card challenge, I used scraps of designer paper to create this bow and gift tag.

I am in need many birthday cards this week for family and friends so I used SCS Sketch Challenge 343 to get one of them knocked out this morning.

I stamped the lower left hydrangea first, masked it, and then added the basket. Next I masked the basket and added the two remaining hydrangeas. The leaves were stamped last.
