This week the Alpha Girls requested cards with jewels. For today's Kitchen Sink sponsored design, I have made a Christmas card featuring the Mighty Moose with the Grand View Mountains and the Tiny Norway Pines (limited edition - retired) in the background. I splattered the front with white acrylic paint and then added a few sparkly jewels to highlight some of the snowflakes. The sky was created using the KSS SVG Cut Cloud Stencil.

SCS Color Challenge 822 with The Project Bin

 This Christmas card, sponsored by The Project Bin, was created for today's Color Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. The required colors for CC822 are Black, Magenta Madness, and Granny Apple Green by Stampin' Up. It was stamped with images from Maybe Christmas by The Project Bin. Bright pink jewels were added for the holly berries. Last of all I attached the black satin bow.

This first one is a masculine birthday card using the Double Dutch Fold which is Sketch Challenge #831. Here is a link to the tutorial I used to create this card. This next card was created for Clean and Simple Challenge #616 - Falling Snowflakes. It uses images and a sentiment from Bear in the Woods, Snowy Cabin, Grand View Mountains, and Mighty Moose.

I stamped Layers 2 - 5 with Stampin' Up Pale Plum. 

I omitted layer one to give the mountains a look of dusted snow.

CCEE2050 - The Glow of Christmas

Lynn McAuley here with the final CCEE Stampers challenge for 2020, which has been a bleak and dark time for us all. For the CCEE2050 challenge, I am asking that your cards reflect a seasonal light of hope and promise for a brighter new year. It can be represented by a candle, the lights on a Christmas tree, the star of Bethlehem, or any other light that comes to mind.

Should you choose to join us in this challenge and post to an on-line gallery, please include keyword CCEE2050 with your design. We look forward to seeing the light you choose to shine on 2021.

My card features the Star of Bethlehem and to me it represents Jesus Christ - the light of the world. He is our hope and our salvation.

This slimline design was created with this wonderful sentiment by Paper Inspirations and embossed with gold glitter embossing powder. The Star and Nativity were cut with dies by Momenta.

Peace of Earth - Kitchen Sink Stamps

This week's Kitchen Sink Stamps sponsored design features their newly released Mighty Moose paired with their Birch Trees and Big & Bold Christmas Greetings. The moose and sentiment were cut with my Cricut Joy using the KSS SVG files while I fussy cut the trees to get the configuration I wanted. Glitter paper was used for the snow on the ground and splattered white acrylic paint for the falling snow.

CCEE2049 - 2020 - Wrap It Up!

Today's card sponsored by The Project Bin was created with one of the awesome sentiments from their set Joyful Song. I have paired it with Spellbinders' Manger die set and rubbed on a bit of Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink around the babe. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black. The star was cut from copper glitter paper. It is a quick and simple design that tells the true story of Christmas.
