Anne Harmon, our August hostess, has created another fun challenge for the CCEE Stampers. This week she has asked us all to create a card using a vacation destination .... one we love or would like to go to, and to make sure to add a 3D element for fun. All my travels this summer have been in Texas. It is a huge place, you know!! The images on my card are all from my favorite Texas rubber stamp company, Deadbeat Designs. The sentiments are computer generated.
Check out were the rest of the CCEE DT hope to visit:
What a wonderful card representing your state, which is indeed HUGE. WE have family in Arlington, and some of them were here last month. We haven't been in Texas for ten years or so, but we loved the big open sky!!!
I like how you shaded around the edge of Texas in bluebonnet blue -- perfect! I'm sure you could spend a lot of time visiting just in Texas, your home state. And the Blue Bonnet ice cream doesn't hurt either! Super card! (BTW, I saw your comment about getting the KB photo collage. Have fun with it!)
Wow! Such perfection....wonderful Texas images. I am sure, even though you live there, there's lots your haven't seen yet. We traveled across the Panhandle and that was plenty BIG!
Oh yum!! Ice cream! Love the cut out of the state and I know this card brings special memories for you!! It's always fun to explore in your own state! There are so many places I haven't seen yet in my own! LOL! Great card!! HUGS
LOL We BOTH have Ice Cream on the brain! LOL LOOOVE yours,Lynn!!! I don't think I could give up Ice Cream for a summer! I know, the fat! Frozen Yogurt on the other hand is a GOOD ALTERNATIVE! ;) If you love your state & with it being SO BIG, why not spend your summer traveling there? A SUPER CARD, Lynn!!! AND INKY HUGS for your SWEET VISIT!!! ;)<3
