CCEE1503 - Stamp Etching

Vicky has asked us to try our hand at stamp etching with today's CCEE Stampers Challenge. If you have never tried it, Lydia Fiedler of Splitcoaststampers created a wonderful tutorial that teaches you every thing you need to know to give it a try. I have chosen to use it on this bird stamp by Martha Stewart.

 I don't think I have quite gotten the hang of it on my first attempt, but I had fun trying!

    I like the way your bird turned out. I couldn't seem to find the right stamp for this technique. This was a great one.

    I've never heard of stamp etching but will have to check it out now. Your card is gorgeous!!! WOW! I love the bird and he's framed out so pretty. Great background too!

    It looks pretty good to me! Of course I always love to see birds on cards. I have to say that for me this technique was a steep learning-curve one, I believe that perhaps my first attempt didn't even make it onto a card. So well done you!
