I used mostly dies and punches to create my card today. The window is Grand Madison Window by Poppy Stamps. The branch is part of Tim Holtz's Bird Branch with punched leaves added. The bird die is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.
I used 3 circle punches to mount the sentiment from Azaelas by Power Poppy.

ReplyDeleteThat window is perfect for this challenge ... love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Lynn! My mind goes blank when "acetate" is mentioned. I'm seeing some mighty pretty, creative uses for it. Now, why didn't I think of this. Beautiful card!
ReplyDeletelovely window scene, great idea - Maryann
ReplyDeleteWow, this is almost the exact repeat of just what I saw out my window yesterday, when I spotted a big, red cardinal just outside my patio window. Love this window idea.
ReplyDeleteWow and WOW some more! This is just beautiful, so soft and serene! I actually was supposed to use acetate on my card today but it wouldn't photograph right, lol - I need lessons from you, this is sensational!
ReplyDeleteNow why didn't I think of that???! May I add that I love the wallpaper?! In this house, we are bird fanciers, and cardinals have always been our favorites. I'm sure that doesn't surprise you. Well done, my friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! Love the wave on that background and the bird in the window is sensational. Fantastic.

Window dies with real glass (even if it's actually only acetate) are always extra-effective. With the DP you've used as wallpaper, I think this would work wonderfully as a masculine card.
ReplyDeleteDelightful card and great design!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful window scene.....fab use of the acetate.....love the dp you used too....fab card, Lynn
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a beauty. You have inspired me to blow the dust off my Madison window die and see if I can make something as lovely as your card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card Lynn! The acetate was perfect for the window. It is a lovely sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Lynn. Love the glass look for your window. The acrylic adds dimension and texture.
