This week's Let's Make a Scene design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps is a tropical birthday card featuring single layer silhouettes from 3 Step Aloha and Multi Step Palm Trees. The red moon was created using Abandoned Coral and Black Soot Distress Oxides. The sky and water were sponged on with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and the silhouettes and sentiment were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

I cannot tell you how much I love the new Distress Oxides from Ranger. I received my shipping notice that the 12 newest colors are winging their way to my house this week. Unable to contain my excitement, I pulled out my old ones to create this colorful design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The images are from Multi Step Carnation and Make a Big Statement.

According to the days of the year calendar, today is International Rock Day - so hostess Frances Byrne has asked that we use the colors of stone ( greys, browns, black, white etc..) for our CCEE Stampers designs this week.
