Eiffel Tower Day - CCEE1613

Frances is back today with her final March challenge for the CCEE Stampers.

According to the Days of the Year web site today is Eiffel Tower Day. So for our challenge this week, Frances wants us to celebrate all things Parisian …. It could be the Eiffel Tower; a French poodle; Berets; Champagne; Red, White & Blue Color Combo etc.

My card was created with images and die cuts from Paris Adventure by Tim Holtz for Sizzix.
Join us and play along with our Parisian challenge linking your card to the CCEE Blog.

Wishing You Peace - Let's Make a Scene #24 - KSS

For Let's Make a Scene #24 sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps, I have chosen to create a masculine sympathy card inspired by the beautiful Texas Hill Country in the spring. During most of March and part of April the hillsides and roadsides are green with spring grasses and blanketed with bluebonnets, the state flower of Texas.

I am entering this design in the Mod Squad Springtime Challenge.

CCEE1612 - Happy Birthday, Frances!

Today is Frances' birthday, and as the hostess for March, she has asked the CCEE Stampers to help her celebrate by creating a card that includes the things she loves … owls and cards that pop up; flip or pull open; accordion style etc. She wants to see anything but a flat card this week.

Flat and fast is my usual style, but in honor of Frances' birthday celebration I have created a Pop-Up Book Card which took me 2 hours! This was my first attempt at this style of card so don't look too closely for the flaws. They are everywhere!!

There was no stamping on this card. I just used an assortment of dies and punches to create this design. The inside sentiment was computer generated.

I know Frances would love to see your owl pop-up card posted on the CCEE blog to help her celebrate!

Poultry Day - CCEE1611

Frances is our CCEE hostess for the month of March, and these are her instructions to all CCEE Stampers:

Saturday is Poultry Day. So let's be inspired by Poultry when creating our cards this week… Chickens, Ducks, Turkeys, Geese, Emus, Ostriches, etc., or Eggs. As Easter is just over a week away, you could create an Easter card but this is optional. Bonus points if you  include Green on your card to celebrate St. Patrick's Day which is today.

Looks like I have gone for the bonus points!! I hope there is a cash prize involved!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

Join us this week and post a card for this challenge on the CCEE Stampers Blog!

The images are from Rubber Ducky Multi Step Clear Stamps and St. Patrick's Day 4 Ducky & Teddy Multi Step Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The sentiment is from Deep Red.
