Spring Arrives in Texas

Texans know that spring has truly arrived when the Texas roadsides are blanketed with bluebonnets and Indian paintbrushes. Last week in my neck of the woods, the paintbrushes showed up and this week the bluebonnets are beginning to appear. If you want to see our grand state covered with glorious wild flowers, this is the time of year to hit the road.

To honor this annual arrival of our state flower, I have used Kitchen Sink Stamps' Multi Step Bluebonnets to create my 10 minute and 20 minute cards.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

10 Minute Card

Paper: Recollections White and Unknown Blue
Inks: Memento Summer Sky, Danbue Blue, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, Olive Grove,
Tangelo, and Tuxedo Black
Tools: Embossing Folder by the Paper Studio and Spellbinders Die

20 Minute Card

Paper: Recollections White and Unknown Blue
Inks: Memento Summer Sky, Danbue Blue, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves,
Tangelo, and Tuxedo Black
Tools: Embossing Folder by Cuttlebug and Marvy Corner Punch
