CCEE 1512 - Weather

Anne Harmon, our CCEE hostess for the windy month of March, has challenged us this week to create a card which features weather. Since rainstorms woke me up several times during the night, I have used rain as my weather of choice today.

Stamps: Million Dollar Moments by Stampin' Up
Encouragement - Words to the Rescue by Steve Fadie
Landscape Silhouettes by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Papers: Recollections White and Black, SU Blue Bayou,
Two Scoops a la Mode by BasicGrey
Inks: Memento Summer Sky and Cottage Ivy
Stampin' Up Pool Party and Baked Brown Sugar
Versafine Onyx Black
Embellishment: Ribbon
Tools: MISTI (if you don't have one, order it TODAY!)

I wonder what weather the rest of the CCEE Team is celebrating today?
Check it out and see!

  2. This is a cute image and I love that sentiment. We are getting a wet spring, aren't we?

  5. You have created such a beautiful setting for your silhouetted girl - and the background paper is so lovely. For me personally that is such a meaningful sentiment; I remember a friend using the shield of faith as a similar analogy when I was going through a particularly hard time; sometimes we need other people to hold that shield or umbrella for us when we can't do it ourselves.

  15. Lynn this is such a fun card! The scene you created goes perfectly with the background paper. It also reminds me that I have an umbrella set that I have yet to use! Think I'll get it out this week.
