Birthday Boy

This is the one treasure I rescued from the final days of Archivers - Tim Holtz Steampunk. I used it today for a masculine birthday card!

Shamrock & Clover

A week of warmth has brought cardinals and clover back to south Texas. They were the inspiration for this week's designs using images from Kitchen Sink Stamps! I hope that things are warming for you, too! Winter was way too long in 2014.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

Coral and Black

I love this color combination and decided to feature it in today's Kitchen Sink cards. The weather has been so bleak and cold around here for so long that today's warmer weather has me dreaming of spring.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

10 Minute Card

The 10 minute design is a single layer card with the butterfly masked to add the swashes behind it.

Songs from the Heart

I have had so much fun creating Valentines this year that I am a little sad that these are the final two for 2014. Now I need to get out my address book and get them all in the mail!

For today's cards I pulled out my Guitar Multi Step Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps. Maria was kind enough to design this stamp at my request, and I absolutely love it!!

Hearts and a Diamond

I created this card for the first challenge posted by Naughty or Nice. I used the digi image Stella and Gus - Deck of Cards by Bugaboo Stamps. I pulled out a sheet of All Decked Out by Graphic 45 which seemed to be a perfect fit!

It is also going into today's SCS Ways to Use it Challenge 465 - Color Something. This image was colored with my Copic markers.

Valentines for the Guys

I am still in Valentine mode and this week the focus is on creating more masculine Valentines. Therefore, I have reached for Kitchen Sink's Multi Step Classic Old Truck. This set is so easy to line up and what fun it is to create old trucks in any color!

10 Minute Card

For the 10 minute card I just stamped a red truck on a white panel and laid it down on an angled panel and a bit of designer paper before stamping a quick sentiment.

Sleigh Ride by Crate Paper
Inks: Wheelbase - 1 Memento Gray Flannel, 2 Memento London Fog,
3 Memento Tuxedo Black
Truck Body - 3 Memento Rhubarb Stalk, 2 Memento Love Letter,
1 Memento Love Letter stamped off once, 4 Memento Rhubarb Stalk
Sponged Edges - Distress Ink - Tea Dye by Ranger
Sentiment - Memento Love Letter

10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More Card

I took my extra 10 minutes to cut out the truck (I can't believe I have had my Silhouette since October and haven't found the time to get it out of the box and hook it up!!) and masked off the background to create this mountain and pines scene. I wanted the clustered trees but not the snow so after stamping the Multi Step Snowy Pine Trees I sponged over them with a light green. The truck is popped up on dimensionals.
