Owl & Autumn Moon

With the first cold front of the season headed for Texas this weekend, my mind is turning to the beautiful autumn season. We will be lucky to have our temperatures lowered by 5 degrees this first time out. We don't begin to see anything in the way of colorful leaves until late November. And even then, it will only be the Chinese Tallow and a few others. My yard is filled with oaks which hang on to their leaves until early spring.

My Kitchen Sink focus stamp set for this week's Ten Minute and Ten Minute More Designs is the beautiful Owl & Autumn Moon Multi Step Clear Stamps. Every time I use it, I wonder why I don't pull it out more often.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

  1. We don't experience the true beauty of Autumn here where I live Lynn either as all the trees keep their leaves, your cards are wonderful.....I really love the second one with the starry night sky and iron wrought fence. Beautifully done. xx

  4. That really wasn't much of a cold snap we had was it Lynn! LOL! Yep, we still have at least another month before we see too much change.
Love both of these. The little owl is great and love it with him sitting in front of that gorgeous moon.

  7. I bet your oaks are so lovely! I used to play in those (yep, in!) when were were smaller. Here, all we have are palm trees which are pretty self sustaining. Your cards are stunning - so elegant in the first and amazingly creative in the second and both so different from each other. WOnderful!
