CCEE Stampers 1436 - Newsprint

CCEE Stampers' Designer, Lois Bak, is the host for the CCEE challenges in September. For this first September challenge, she has asked the team to make a card using newsprint as a part of the design.  (Post sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps).

Papers: Crumb Cake, Baked Brown Sugar, and  Soft Suede by Stampin' Up
French Industrial by Tim Holtz
Inks:  Layers on Watch - 3 Memento Espresso Truffle, 2 Memento Rich Cocoa,
1 Memento Toffee Crunch
Sponging done with Memento Toffee Crunch and SU Soft Suede
Sentiment: Memento Espresso Truffle
Tool: Embossing Folder by Cuttlebug

  3. Love how you stamped directly onto the newsprint. This is a great masculine card, and the pocket watch seems so appropriate for the news carrier theme, as they always have to deliver in a very timely fashion.

  8. French newsprint - cool! I was looking at the Hero Arts Newspaper Eiffel Tower stamp in relation to a thread on SCS, and I just didn't get why they didn't use French print on it. Something like this would have much more appropriate. A great masculine card, I love that ef for clock-themed cards.
