On the High Seas!

I had such a revelation the other day when I saw Maria using the rope from Adornments Multi Step Clear Stamps on her recent sailboat card! What a lightbulb moment! What could be more perfect with all the beautiful nautical stamps as well as the western stamps? I have been like a kid with a new toy trying it out every-which-way! Of course, I had to work it into this week's 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More post.

Both cards today start with the same sailboat stamped on a two inch square and turned on the diagonal.

10 Minutes More Card

Here I added an additional mat with the rope stamped around the four edges to create a frame.

  3. Wow, that rope is really great. I always love a way to rethink the use of a stamp especially when it is not the usual or typical way we used it before.

  6. Love the elegant simplicity of the first card, and the fabulous additions to the second. The colors are gorgeous and so is the sponging.
