We have a winner!

A huge congratulations to SuperJen who was the first person to match the Kitchen Sink Crew members with the stamp set they requested that Maria design! I can't wait to see what she has Maria design for us for September! Maybe it will be backyard camping related! Only Jen knows!

Most of my friends had no problem matching me with the new Guitar Multi Step Clear Stamps. I come from a long, long line of musicians and on most holidays you will find many of us gathered in my parents' living room with guitars and percussion instruments of all kind playing and singing. My sister and nephew are the guitarists in the bunch. I chose the guitar to honor my sister and the years of work and dedication she has given as a musician with the Karios ministry.

Here is a break down of which stamp set matches with which Kitchen Sink Crew Member:

Grizzly Bear Wishes - Connie
Sailboats - Julie
Lighthouses - Lisa
Guitar - Lynn
Palm Trees - Maria

So today I am finally designing with the guitar for this week's 10 Minutes and 10 Minutes More cards!

10 Minutes

I wanted very masculine cards today so I went with a gray and black color scheme. The 10 minute design is a single layer card created by masking the guitar to add the musical notes.

Stamps: Guitar Multi Step Clear Stamps by Kitchen Sink Stamps
Paper: Smoky Slate by Stampin' Up
Inks: Guitar - 4 Memento Tuxedo Black, 3 Memento London Fog,
2 Memento Gray Flannel, 1 Stampin' Up Sahara Sand

10 Minutes + 10 Minutes More

With my extra 10 minutes, I heat embossed "music," die cut a line of musical notes, cut out and popped up the guitar, and added a knotted ribbon with a metal button.

  2. There's not much better in life than having a sweet, talented sister. Lynn, you do such incredible work for Kitchen Sink Stamps. You are a master at these special stamps and I am so thrilled you had this fabulous guitar designed for others to enjoy. Music is the universal language and I feel it is part of heaven that God has shared with earth. So many times in scripture it refers to singing praises to the Lord. This stamp will certainly bring joy to those who use it. I just love it and am so honored you thought of me.
