He Lives!

Blogger seems to be having major issues today! My card appears and disappears with no rhyme or reason. If it is missing now, you can view it in my Splitcoaststampers Gallery here!

For centuries the flowered cross has signified the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter morning. So for this Kitchen Sink Monday, I used my KSS lilies, hydrangeas, tulips, sunflowers, and  tiny wild flowers to create for you a flowered cross. This is a one layer card created completely by masking.

I printed the sentiment on Pure White cardstock by GinaK. I then created a cross using two strips of cardstock. After centering the cross on the card, I sponged around it with SU So Saffron to create the space I wanted to fill with flowers.

After removing the cardstock cross, I started stamping in the center of the space with the lilies. I stamped the flowers, masked them, and worked outward from there. Stamp, mask, stamp, mask, stamp, mask until all the space was filled.

It is always a surprise as I peel off the masks to see what I have actually created! I'm happy with this! I hope you like it, too!

Stamps: Multi Step Lilies, Multi Step Hydrangea, Multi Step Tulip Garden, Multi Step Sunflowers, and 3 Step Hey, Chick! by Kitchen Sink Stamps

Great job with the masking! This had to have been very time consuming, but well worth it. I think you need to frame it!
