Christmas Thank Yous

One of my biggest challenges after Christmas is getting my thank you notes written when there are so many other holiday clean-up projects screaming for my attention!  I have learned over the years that if I have the cards made and addressed, I can get them out is record time and not have to deal with the guilt of unacknowledged gifts hanging over my head for days on end!

So last night, I pulled out my crate of Kitchen Sink Stamps and went to work intent on having my thank yous ready to go!! Hope you like what I came up with!

Papers: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, and Riding Hood Red by Stampin' Up, Bazzil Green Textured, eskimo kisses by BasicGrey

Inks: Versafine Vintage Sepia, Memento Summer Sky, Stampin' Up Wild Wasabi

Embellishments: Ribbon and Flat back Pearls

Tools: Oval Nestabilities, Martha Stewart Punch

I also needed two birthday cards this week (I put yours in the mail Saturday, Angela! Hope it arrives in time!) With green being my favorite color, I knew I wanted to try out the fabulous new Lily-of-the-Valley which is a part of A Year of Thanks II. I love how it turned out and will be making more of these!!

  10. Love the idea for making the thank you ahead of time. It's funny, often when I do birthday party invites for my friend' kids, I o go ahead and make their thanks yous and never thought to make them for myself for Christmas. Thanks for that idea. Love your design too!

  12. The birthday card with the Lily of the Valley and embossing is just beautiful. I'm ok with it being "winter" now, but once the holiday season is over, as far as I'm concerned, it can roll right into spring with flowers like this all over the place.
